Mayor seeks vote for BJP, cautions people against dynastic parties

POONCH, Apr 1: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta has appealed the people to vote in favour of BJP candidate from Jammu -Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency and sitting MP Jugal Kishore Sharma in the ensuing Parliamentary elections for the development of their area and prosperity of the masses.
Gupta, who addressed various election meetings in the district including Poonch city, highlighted the unprecedented development which took place in the State during the last five years of Modi Government and said that there is no parallel to PM Modi who can ensure all round development of the country.
Gupta said BJP believes in `Saba Ka Saath Sabka Vikas’ and is against the caste and communal politics whose seeds were sown by Congress and other opposition parties during last 70 years to divide the people and crate a wedge among the communities.
The JMC Mayor said it was Congress which for its vote bank politics mislead the Muslims of the country and State and distanced them from BJP when the reality is totally otherwise. He said basic principle of BJP is justice to all and appeasement to none and party strictly sticks to the same so that last man in the last queue is benefitted.
He said it was with this principle in mind that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi who had felt the pain of poor, downtrodden and other weaker sections of the society and launched many welfare schemes for them so that they should not lag behind other sections of the society.
He said people should not fall a prey to false propaganda of Congress and other dynastic parties who for continuance of their dynastic rule misled them and spread canards against BJP and PM Modi. Gupta said BJP fully believes that prosperity of every section of society and development of every area in the country will lead to building of New India of Modi’s dreams and hence the people should not pay any attention to the false propaganda of the opposition parties. He said granting of three percent reservation to Pahari people and 10 percent reservation to economic weaker sections of the society will definitely help this border belt also.
He appealed the people to vote for BJP candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma. Gupta who is leading the liaison Committee of social organizations said people have appreciated the constitution of the Committee and demanded the same should continue after the elections also.
Narayan Singh and other senior leaders of the party also addressed these meetings and highlighted the achievements of Modi Government.
