JAMMU, Jan 20: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta today visited areas of Sidhra here in Ward No. 71.
Shama Akhtar, Councillor of Ward No. 71; B.S Thakur, President Tawi Vihar Resident Welfare Association; Anil Gupta AEE (JMC), concerned Junior Engineer, Contractor and other field staff of various sections of JMC were also present on the occasion.
During visit, the Mayor started construction work of various drains, lanes etc at the estimate cost of Rs.10.50 lakh which will be executed by Engineering Wing of JMC.
The Mayor directed Engineers to complete the development works with quality material and upto the satisfaction of the locals.
He assured the gathering that all the remaining development works of the Ward will be taken up on priority base as JMC has started development activities in each Ward with the consent of concerned Councillor and general public.
