JAMMU, July 13: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta today visited the areas of Ward No. 25 and started the upgradation work of Shishu Samadhis.
JMC Councillors Arun Kumar Khanna, Dinesh Gupta, Mohinder Kumar Bhagat along with Arun Gupta, Executive Engineer; Ram Lal, Assistant Executive Engineer and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the Mayor said that JMC has already taken up the job of renovation of cremation grounds, grave yards and Shishu Samadhis in different Wards of the city in addition to construction of drains and lanes.
He also said that paver tiles will be laid at Shishu Samadhis and waiting shed shall also be constructed there.
“This development work will be executed at the estimate cost of Rs. 25 lakh,” he said and directed the engineers to complete the work with quality material and within the stipulated time period.
