JAMMU, Feb 9: Mayor JMC, Chander Mohan Gupta conducted an extensive tour of Ward No. 29, 40, 70 and 35 and reviewed the progress of development works and installation of street lights in Ward No 29 along with the concerned Ward councillors, Surinder Choudhary , Rajiv Mahajan and many prominent citizens of the area.
He also kick started tile works at Tirath Nagar Ward No. 40 along with the concerned Ward councillor Neelam Gupta , Shiban Koul and in presence of other prominent citizens.
He inaugurated Medi Mart Pharmacy at Ward No 70 along with the concerned councillor Narinder Singh and councillor of Ward No 23, Pawan Singh .During the tour he said that JMC is going to execute many development works in future and various works are going on like fountain work in different rotaries of the Jammu city, development of national level cattle pound at Seri Khurd Nagrota, multi layer parking at Panjtirthi etc.
He appealed to Jammuites to avoid the polythene carry bags and use the cloth bags during marketing and plant a tree during coming months to make Jammu city clean and green.
