JAMMU, Aug 7: Maximum Clinics conducted free medical check-up camp at 158 Inf. Bn. (TA), (H&H) Sikh Li in association with Indian Army, Hartej Hospital, Amritsar and Physio First Jammu.
“We gave free health advice to about 392 patients, even after unfavourable weather conditions”, an official of the Maximum Clinics said.
He added that patients had free blood tests, ECG, life style modification and diet plans, physical examination by specialist doctors in the field of general medicine, general, gastro and cancer surgery, orthopaedics and neurology.
Indian Army provided immense help including arrangements for patients and food for volunteers and doctors and transportation for patients, he stated.
More than 50 patients have been diagnosed for further treatment surgeries related to gastro, general, gynae and orthopaedics, who will be treated at half price in phased manner during next two months, he added.
While speaking, Dr Manish, Group Head, Maximum Clinics said “We use a holistic model of development and undertake a number of CSR activities in larger interest of the community, especially in the area of health education and road safety and childcare apart from supporting a few other not for profit efforts”.
The camp was held under the leadership of Major Daya Singh.
