MRM Bharat Yatra reaches Kashmir

JAMMU, May 13: The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) which has embarked on the “Bharat Yatra,” a nationwide initiative supporting the Indian Army and advocating for a terror-free, riot-free and hate-free nation today reached Pahalgam in South Kashmir district of Anantnag where 26 tourists were gunned down by Pakistani terrorists on April 22 and staged a massive demonstration there.
The MRM has taken out the yatra in a determined stride towards fostering unity and peace across Bharat,. MRM, Marg Darshak, Inderesh Kumar who is also National Executive Member RSS flagged off the Yatra from Delhi.
The Yatra is being led by its all India national convenor, Abu Bakr Naqvi accompanied by Abdul Aziz (Yatra coordinator), Ehasan Ansari (divisional coordinator), Aftab Hindustani (Jaipur division co-coordinator), Mahfooz Ali (district coordinator Jhalawar), Shakeel Pehalwan (Tonk district coordinator), Mujeeb Khan (Kota district co-convenor), Islam Pathan Sikar (district coordinator), Islam Bhai Tonk (district co-convenor), Qamar Ahmed Akhtar Khan, Mujeeb Khan and Shahid Abrar Amardeen .
Abu Bakr Naqvi emphasized the mission’s goals stating, “The Bharat Yatra is not just a journey; it is a mission to unite people of all sects into a brotherhood where hatred, violence and terrorism have no place. Our unwavering support goes to the Indian Army whose vigilance allows us to live peacefully.”
Dr. Romesh Khajuria member National Working Committee Gau Parkosat MRM and former chairman of Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council and former chairman of Carpet Export Pro Motion Council, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India in his address condemned the cowardly attack on tourists and expressed sympathies with all bereaved families of all martyrs who were killed in Pahalgam terror attack. Dr Khajuria also remembered the sacrifice of martyr Adil Hussain Shah who was killed while trying to save tourists. He stated that Adil is the real example of Kashmiriyaat and humanity as he sacrificed his life for saving the lives of tourists. Two minutes silence also observed for the peace of the departed souls.
All the activists appealed Government of India to construct a mausoleum in the name of the martyrs.
Abu Bakr Naqvi, complimented people of Pahalgam for showing sympathy towards nation and mourning this brutal act.
Mir Nazir convener, MRM J&K Ladakh Kuldip Manhas and Kundan Lal also addressed the gathering.
