SRINAGAR, Apr 23: Mascot Travels today bagged the prestigious Khyber Peerless award for highest business at a glittering ceremony at The Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa at Gulmarg which was attended by top travel agents.
The award was received by Managing Partner of Mascot Travels Mohammad Yaseen Tuman. Mascot has recieved this award for third consecutive year.
The Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa management applauded 150 travel agents from the Kashmir Valley by recognizing their efforts and felicitating them with The Khyber Travel Agents’ Excellence Awards – 2015-16.
Commenting on the outstanding contribution by the travel trade for their ongoing support in promoting Gulmarg and the resort, Sujith Herbert, General Manager of Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa, said the Khyber Travel Agents’ Excellence awards are an acknowledgement of the support and effort by our partners in the travel industry to promote Gulmarg and The Khyber.
The most prestigious peerless ward for support in business revenue was bagged by Mascot Travels and it was received by Managing Partner of the company Mohammad Yaseen Tuman. The Voter Choice Award was bagged by GreenGold Holidays and Group Business Leader Award by Elizabeth Travels.
Mazda Travels, Mascot Travels, Shangloo Travels Private Limited, Dastan Tours, Peakmark Adventure, Shah Travels Private Limited, Honey Gold Travel and Tours, Shahnama Tours, Shiraz Travels and Earth Explorer were declared the top ten Travel Agents on basis of productivity.
The leading in Group Business award was bagged by Shiraz Travels while promising travel agent went to OMG Luxury Holidays, Ashaan Tours, Columbia Tours and Travels.
