JAMMU, Dec 22: Shri Martand Tirath Trust organised a function at Suriya Bhawan Paloura here, today in which the newly elected body led by Ashok Kumar Sidha took oath of office.
Besides, Sidha general secretary of the Trust Tej Krishan Tickoo also took the oath on the occasion. They were administered the oath by Pt Omkar Nath Shastri who also presided over the function while Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsangh Ashram was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Senior KP leader, Harji Lal Jad, KP Sabha chief K K Khosa, Dr Agnishekhar, convener PK, Ashok Kumar Braroo, Dr R L Bhat, advocate Kashmiri Lal and president YAIKS R K Bhat were among others who were present on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering both Sidha and Tickoo said that they will come up to the expectations of the Martand Hindu Biradri as well as KP community who reposed their trust in them. They said that they will work for the development of the Martand Tirath and betterment of the community. They also appealed the community to extend their cooperation, support and guidance to the new management so that they can work in much better way for the welfare of the community as well as development of the Shrine.
