KATHUA, June 4: In fit of anger, a person chopped off the left ear of a person with a sharp edged weapon at Billawar town this morning.
According to police, in a fit of anger, one Angrez Singh, chopped off the left ear of one Charan Dass with a sharp edged weapon and left the injured person in a pool of blood and absconded from the spot.
On getting the information, locals of the area shifted the injured to Sub District Hospital, Billawar where his treatment was going on. Late this evening, the accused was arrested and taken into custody after hectic efforts by the police. Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
