JAMMU, June 4: 6th District Rope Skipping Championship organized by District Jammu Rope Skipping Association was conducted by KC International School.
The event was declared open by Principal of KC International School Maya Mishra, who was guest of honour on the occasion in presence of Rajni Malhotra, Activity Coordinator, KCIS and other staff members.
It was an event to foster the sportsmanship of the youth from the different schools of the city.
DPS Jammu, KC Gurukul School, Army Public School Akhnoor, Guru Nanak Public School, Shangrilla Public School and KC International School participated in the event.
The championship was categorized into various events like speed hop, team relay 30 seconds, Endurance 3 minutes, free style, double under, speed 30 seconds, etc.
Maya Mishra motivated the students to take part in such events where they can showcase their skills.
The championship was held under the guidance of Tarsem Sharma, Executive President of Rope Skipping Association.
