KATHUA, July 11: Former Minister and president DCC Kathua, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today conducted a peaceful protest at Dinga Amb of Kandi belt and lambasted the Central Government for price rise in essential commodities and fuel products.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Sharma said that presently people of country are facing worst times due to anti people policies of BJP regime. He said today everybody from farmer to transporters and small businessman is facing heat due to wrong policies of present Government.
Commenting on rising prices of petrol and diesel, he said it is shameful that when prices of crude oil per barrel are all time low, fuel prices are rising constantly. Manohar also pitched for special job recruitment and job reservation for the youth residing in Kandi belt and along International border as the people have to face lot of problems due to continuous cross border firing and due to shortage of water in Kandi belt, they can’t do farming.
The former Minister said that people are still waiting for start of prestigious Dayalachak Challan four-lane project and lambasted BJP Government for the delay in start of project. On the occasion, an effigy of Central Government was also torched.
