Mankotia inaugurates school building

UDHAMPUR, May 4: MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia inaugurated Primary School Pagari and its building in Panchyat Tikri, here today.
The building was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 7.45 Lakh by local village education committee under the supervision of Education Department.
ZEO Tikri and officers from different departments including PHE and PDD were present on the occasion.
Local public demanded up-gradation of road from Drabad to Jalmara via Pagial Pagari, Khilla as well as electrification of left over houses of Pagail Pagari and Jalmara.  Local Panch Balbir Singh and Bittu who were organizer of the programme, highlighted the demand of drinking water, proper supply and lying of pipes to left over houses.
While addressing the gathering, Mr  Mankotia said that before 2002, these areas were neither connected with road nor having provision of drinking water supply and electrification.  But after 2002 elections, all most all  Moras are connected with road, power and drinking water facility, he said and announced Rs  2 lakh out of CDF for the up-gradation and improvement of low voltage problem in Jalmara and Pagial Pagari. He also announced that all the left over houses in Jalmara,Pagial and Pagari will provided  drinking water facility in the current year.
Other who spoke on the occasion, included  Sarpanch Yash Pal, Kaka Ram, Mangal   Panch Bittu, Panch Balbir Singh, Panch Nek Ram, Panch Dharampal, Panch Ranjeet Singh, Sher Singh, Madan Singh and  Manhore Singh.
