RAMBAN, May 3: Panthers Party’s State president Balwant Singh Mankotia has demanded high level investigation into KPS exam results. He alleged that recently declared KPS exam results are full of irregularities and deliberate attempts have been made to deprive talented educated youth of Jammu region from higher services.
Mankotia, while addressing different rallies at village Hala, Jatgali, Natana and Sangaldan in this hilly district alleged that in a well hatched conspiracy irregularities have been made in the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services results. There are large number of complaints about mistakes done in answer sheets of aspirant candidates. Those who have qualified the exam have been shown as fail which is a big injustice with talented educated youth and demanded that a thorough investigation by high level investigative agency so that educated youth of Jammu region can get justice. The Haq-insaaf yatra led by Mankotia reached Ramban district.
Mankotia said that since 1947, there is monopoly of Kashmiris in KAS services and Jammu region remains ever neglected with a marginal 10 percent representation in administrative services while Kashmir gets 90 percent share in higher posts. He blamed that innocent patriotic people of Jammu region remain deprived of higher services since 1947 with the naming of nomenclature as Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) instead of Jammu-Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS). Deliberately name of Jammu was replaced by the then rulers and since then youth of Jammu region remain deprived and presence of Jammu people on higher posts is thin.
Mankotia demanded that on the pattern of High Court, there should be Administrative Services in State and posts for both Kashmir and Jammu regions should be kept separate so that youth of each region can get equal right and justice in administrative jobs. He said that without the separation of posts for administrative services, educated youth of Jammu region will never get equal share in higher posts. Mankotia also condemned the cancellation of Anantnag by poll and blamed that State and Central Government is responsible for present Kashmir situation.
