JAMMU, Sept 26: Balwant Singh, father of senior Apni Party leader Manjit Singh passed away after prolonged illness at his residence in Vijaypur today.
The deceased, who had been battling a prolonged illness, peacefully departed from this world today morning at his residence in Vijaypur, in district Samba, a party spokesman said.
Apni Party leaders have expressed their grief and sorrow over the passing away of the father of the party’s senior leader and provincial president, Jammu, Manjit Singh. In a condolence message, the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, extended his heartfelt condolences to Manjit Singh and the other members of the bereaved family.
