JAMMU, June 9: Natrang’s National Theatre Talk Show- Young Voices of Theatre today featured Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Awardee, Theatre actor, director, puppeteer and magician Manish Joshi Bismil.
He shared his views with the global audience at the Facebook page of Natrang Jammu. Director Natrang, Balwant Thakur informed that this unique talk show is featuring acclaimed young voices of theatre spread across the country who has earned a distinctive name for themselves as actors, directors, designers or technicians through their outstanding contribution.
Manish Joshi Bismil is a multifaceted artist who has directed more than 35 full-length plays including ‘Aadhe Adhure’ by Mohan Rakesh, ‘Nagmandal’ by Girish Karnad, ‘Andha Yug’ by Dharamvir Bharti etc. His play ‘Hum to Aise Hi Hain’ has been staged more than 108 times in the country and abroad in Lahore.
In a candid and interesting conversation with Nartang’s senior artist Neeraj Kant, Manish narrated his flamboyant journey of theatre with vivid citations and also disclosed how he conquered the problem of stammering with his dedication and determination.
Neeraj Kant, Anil Tickoo, Sumeet Sharma, Sanjeev Gupta, Vikrant Sharma, Mohd Yaseen, Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Gauri Thakur and Chander Shekhar were part of the team who organised today Theatre Talk Show.
