Man stabbed by brother-in-law

JAMMU, Aug 26: A man was stabbed tonight by his brother-in-law in Bagh-e-Bahu area of city outskirts.
“Kali (32) son of Manohar Lal, resident of Gurdaspur (Punjab) and presently living at Gorkha Nagar, Jammu, had an altercation with his brother-in-law over money as both use to do together the shuttering work”, a police official said.
He said as quarrel escalated, Kali’s brother-in-law, whose identity was not known immediately, stabbed and wounded him grievously in a fit of rage. “In a pool of blood, Kali was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be serious till the last reports came in”, he further added.
The official said that a case in this connection was registered under relevant sections at police station Bagh-e-Bahu and the accused was arrested with the weapon of offence. Further investigations were on, he added.
