JAMMU, Oct 8: Miran Sahib Police nabbed a man along with heroin and sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta laid a naka at Kotli Mian Fateh and intercepted a car bearing Registration Number JK02CN-7902 which was coming from Bishnah towards Langotian.
During checking, police team recovered 4.5 grams heroin and a sharp edged weapon from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Sahil Choudhary, son of Karnail Singh of Chak Alawul Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 127/2022 under Sections 8/21/22/60 NDPS Act and 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
