JAMMU, Aug 7: Kanachack Police arrested a man and recovered around one dozen rolls of banned Chinese thread.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal conducted raid and apprehended a man along with around one dozen rolls of banned Chinese thread.
The arrested person was identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Shama Chak Tehsil Marh District Jammu.
The arrest was made in violation of DM order regarding ban on sale of plastic/synthetic threads (manja).
A case FIR Number 94/2022 under section 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
