JAMMU, Aug 16: Khour police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on some reliable inputs, police team from Khour police station arrested a man along with 6 bottles of illicit liquor, which he had kept hidden in a field near his shop.
The accused has been identified as Madan Lal, son of Payara Ram of Romali, Pallanwala.
A case under FIR Number 58/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against the accused at police station Khour and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Khour police station SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
