JAMMU, July 6: Manwal police nabbed a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor from Kishanpur area.
As per police sources, police team from Manwal police post intercepted a pedestrian at Kishanpur on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger, who has been identified as Balbinder Singh, son of Kartar Singh of Jindrah.
A case under FIR number 71/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Manwal Tribhuvan Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Ravinder, SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
