SAMBA, June 8: One person died in Ramgarh area after hanging himself with a mango tree today while a girl from Nud died after consuming some poisonous substance at her residence today.
Police said one Jeet Singh , 62, son of Balak Ram of Palouta Ramgarh hanged himself with a mango tree in his field at village Kamore, Ramgarh. The Ramgarh police has taken the cognizance of the case and started investigation.
In another case a girl namely Anjali , 19, daughter of Prem Kumar of Nud consumed some poisonous substance at her residence today. She was shifted to PHC Nud and then to Accidental Hospital Vijaypur. Seeing her condition critical doctors referred her to GMC&H Jammu where she died later.
Her body was shifted to GMC mortuary for postmortem and Samba police has taken the cognizance of the matter.
