REASI, Aug 30: In an apparent case of suicide, a young man was found hanging from a ceiling rod in his house at Gran Morh, Reasi.
The deceased, namely Swaran Singh (36), son of Late Prithvi Singh of Gran Morh Reasi, was found hanging in his room under suspicious circumstances.
Reports said that family members of the deceased person saw the body hanging and informed the police. On being informed, a Police party from Reasi Police Station reached the spot and shifted the dead body to DH Reasi for post mortem.
Though it was an apparent case of suicide, cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained. A case in this regard has been registered at PS Reasi for further investigation.
