JAMMU, July 16: A 34-year-old man was found hanging this afternoon in Qasim Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased was identified as Narinder Kumar son of Madan Lal, resident of Bhambla, tehsil pouni, district Reasi. He said Kumar was found hanging from fan with the help of a rope in his rented accommodation in Qasim Nagar area.
“The body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC were initiated in this connection at police station Bagh-e-Bahu,” the official added. He said that the deceased used to work at Narwal Mandi.
