RAJOURI, July 10: One person was found dead in his rented room at Tatapani village while a young hailing from Thandapani village allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous pills today.
A police spokesman said that 45-year old Sita Ram, son of Durga Dass, resident of Siot village was found lying dead in his rented room at village Tatapani in Kalakote area this morning. He was working there for the past some time. The land lords became suspicious as he did not open door. They called police and the cops broke the door and found him dead inside. His body was sent for postmortem and later handed over to the family. The police registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old Yuvraj Singh, son of S Rajinder Singh, resident of Thandapani village allegedly consumed some poisonous stuff at home last night and was rushed to hospital at Sunderbani. He was later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. He was declared as dead in Jammu hospital. The police has taken cognizance.
