JAMMU, Aug 19: A man was found dead at his rented accommodation here in Ranghunath Pura area.
“Madan Singh (45) son of Dina Nath, resident of Billawar (at present Raghunath Pura, Jammu), who used to run a tea stall in the area was found dead this morning at his rented accommodation”, a police official said.
He said after postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceedings initiated in the case by the city police.
“Prima facie, excessive intake of alcohol appears to be the reason of the death. However, the exact reason of the death will came to know after postmortem report comes”, the official added.
