SRINAGAR, Dec 22: Police today said a man died after he received electric shock in Kupwara district of north Kashmiur last evening.
A police spokesman said a 30 year-old man Bilal Ahmad Ganaie received electric shock while connecting an electric wire at Regipora in Kupwara near old bridge. “He was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites,” he said.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard, he added.
