RAJOURI, Aug 18: One person was killed while three others injured when a tipper met with an accident near Mandir Galla on Rajouri-Kotranka road this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that the incident took place when the tipper bearing registration No. JK-12/6971 skidded off the road and rolled down. While one person was killed on the spot, three others received injuries. The locals of the area rushed them to Kotranka hospital. The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Singh (28), son of Surjit Singh, resident of Saranu village in the same area. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
