JAMMU, Nov 28: A man died today after he received an electric shock while cutting a tree at Panjgrian area of Nagrota.
According to a police spokesperson, one Lapy Verma son of Pappu Verma of Panjgrain area of Nagrota was cutting branches of a tree in Panjgrain area of Nagrota when he came in contact with a live wire that was passing through touching the branches of the tree.
Resultantly, the man received an electric shock and fell down from the tree. In unconscious condition he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital and the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
