RAJOURI, May 9: A 38-year-old man hailing from Argi area of Rajouri district, died after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance today.
Reports said one Raj Kumar, son of Chander Prakash, aged nearly 38 years, swallowed some poisonous substance at his home under suspicious circumstances late last evening. He was admitted to GMC Rajouri in an unconscious condition where doctors tried their best to save his life but in view of his deteriorating condition during treatment, he was referred to GMC Jammu on Thursday but he died on the way.
The police taking cognizance of the matter, conducted post-mortem of the dead body and after completing other legal formalities, handed over it to the family members for last rites.
