KATRA, Aug 8: A middle aged man was crushed to death by a passenger bus near Katra Bus Stand, here today.
Reports said that a passenger bus bearing registration number .JK02AF-9921, crushed a man near Niharika complex Bus stand Katra.
The said person died on the spot. He was identified as Prem Chand (56 years) son of Daya Ram, resident of Ward number 1, near PWD office Katra.
Police shifted body of the deceased to hospital and arrested the bus driver. A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Katra.
