JAMMU, Apr 24: A man today allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Raipur Satwari.
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Bishan Dass (58) son of Hans Raj, a resident of Raipur Satwari consumed some poisonous at his residence.
In unconscious condition, the family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he expired during treatment.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem. The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
