JAMMU, July 23: A man who had consumed some poisonous substance, died at a private hospital, here today.
“Anil Mahajan son of Som Dass, resident of Gandhi Nagar, was found in unconscious condition near Environmental Park, Bagh-e-Bahu, few days back, allegedly after he consumed some poisonous substance” a police official said.
The official said that the victim was shifted to ASCOMS Hospital on the same day where he expired today. “After postmortem, the body of the deceased was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, Bagh-e-Bahu police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC in the case.
