SAMBA, Sept 9: An old man consumed some poisonous substances under mysterious circumstances in his house in the village Satha area of Samba today.
He was identified as Raghunath Singh, son of Janak Singh resident of village Satah Samba. He consumed poisonous substance at his residence under mysterious circumstances. When his family members saw him in unconscious state, they immediately brought him to the District Hospital Samba for treatment but where the doctor declared him dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to the Mortuary Room of district Hospital Samba for legal formalities.
After completing the legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to the legal heirs for his funeral.
In this regard, the police have taken cognizance of the case and started further investigation.
