JAMMU, Aug 1: A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in tehsil Sunderbani of district Rajouri.
As per police sources, Vijay Kumar (40), son of Parkash of Sunderbani allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, family members rushed him to nearby hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last.
After completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case in this connection has been registered and further investigation is on to ascertain the exact reasons behind such an extreme step.
