JAMMU, Oct 21: A man was attacked today with sharp edged weapon by his relatives over some land issue in Arnia area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, over some land issue six persons of a family including two women beat their relative Rajesh Kumar (37) son of Tilak Raj, resident of Chak Ramdas (Arnia) and later one of them attacked Rajesh with a sharp edged weapon (Toka).
In the attack, Rajesh got injuries on his shoulder and one of the hands. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Arnia, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The Arnia police had registered a case in this connection against the accused persons, who had been identified as Darshan Kumar, Rishi Kumar and Subhash, all sons of Raj Kumar and Akhil Kumar son of Darshan Kumar, Bindu wife of Rishi Kumar and wife of Subhash Kumar, whose name could not be ascertained. All the accused are residents of Chak Ramdas. No arrest could be made till the last reports came in.
