Man attacked by bear

UDHAMPUR, Sept 18: Naib Sarpanch of village Chapper in Latti, was mauled by a beer, here today.
The victim identified as Sansar Chand (47), son of   Amar Nath of Latti Pul, was on way to home from his shop when the bear attacked and injured him seriously.
He was immediately shifted to Primary Health Centre Latti  where the doctors referred him to District Hospital Udhampur.
Meanwhile,   two persons were injured in separate road accidents, here today.
A Tata  Mobile, bearing registration number  JK14A-1843 rolled down in a deep gorge  near Tali Bari resulting into serious injuries to the driver, Bodh Raj (48) son of Vishwa Nath of Garnai Lota in Udhampur.
In another road accident,  a motorcyclist was injured when his bike  JK02AC-3151 skidded off the road near Tikri. The injured, identified as Pawan Kumar (28), son of Bodh Raj of Bali Nallah, was  rushed to  PHC Tikri where doctors referred him to  GMC Hospital Jammu.
