POONCH, July 26: Police arrested a man along with Indian made pistol.
As per official sources, a team from Police Station Poonch during checking at Aala Peer Chowk intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered Indian made pistol from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Basat Muneer, son of Muneer Husain of Marah Surankote, at present Ward Number 13 Sheesh Mahal District Poonch.
A case FIR Number 160/2022 under section 3/25 Indian Arms Act (IAA) has been registered at Police Station Poonch and investigation taken up.
