DODA, Aug 13: Bhaderwah police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was trying to escape on seeing police cops.
During checking, police recovered 55 small bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Munish Kumar, son of Chamail Singh, a resident of Linga Dandi, Tehsil Bhaderwah, District Doda.
A case under FIR Number 141/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Touseef Ahmed and Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh
