JAMMU, Nov 27: Kanachak Police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Kanachack Police Station led by SHO Vishaw Pratap Singh apprehended a person along with 10 bottles and 11 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested persons were identified as Tej Ram, son of Shonar of Chattisgarh, at present Marjali.
A case under FIR Number 184/2020 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
