JAMMU, Jan 16: Bishnah police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Rajesh Sharma laid a naka at Khairi and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 52 small bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Yash Pal alias Nisha, son of Madan Lal, a resident of Khairi.
A case under FIR Number 6/19 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
