JAMMU, July 5: Bishnah Police arrested a man along with heroin and a sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Pawan Dogra under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh laid a naka and intercepted a Scorpio car bearing registration number DL02CT-6596.
During checking, police team recovered 2.5 grams heroin and one sharp edged weapon from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Roshan Kumar, son of Kewal Kumar of village Kotli Charkan Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 117/2022 under sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act and 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
