JAMMU, Mar 4: Janipur police arrested a man for preparing fake documents of the land.
As per police sources, a complaint was received by Police Station Janipur stating that a person identified as Bashir Ahmed Dar, son of Ghulam Nabi Dar of Achabal district Anantnag, at present Gujjar Mohallah Upper Paloura has shown a plot of 8 marlas to a person and took away Rs 10,000 by giving him forged documents of the land.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 21/18 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 RPC was registered at Janipur Police Station and the accused has been arrested.
During the course of investigation, police team recovered rubber stamps and forged documents of the lands from the accused, which he used to prepare land documents.
Further questioning of the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO Janipur SI Bimal Indu made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Jammu Raj Pal Singh Manhas, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
