JAMMU, Dec 16: Pouni Chak police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pouni Chak Police Post laid a naka at Patta Chungi and intercepted a vehicle.
During checking, police recovered 36 pouches of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested one person, who has been identified as Suresh Kumar, son of Bihari Lal, a resident of village Basti Gajansoo.
A case under FIR Number 385/17 under relevant section has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pouni Chak Police Post SI Arun Slathia made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Sumeet Sharma, SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh.
