RAMBAN, Apr 20: Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches from bus-stand area here.
As per police sources, a team from Ramban police station led by SHO Inspector Pardeep Sharma intercepted a person at bus stand here.
During checking, police recovered 7 bottles and 19 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Prabhat Singh, son of Raghunath, a resident of Darli Dundhrath, Tehsil Rajgarh, District Ramban.
The man was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his native village for selling it among the people for illegitimate profits.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered against the accused at Ramban police station and investigation started.
