JAMMU, Oct 31: Akhnoor police arrested a man along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Akhnoor Police Station arrested a man along with 25 small bottles of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Tejinder Singh, son of Puran Singh, a resident of Ward Number 4 Akhnoor.
A case under FIR Number 228/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Akhnoor Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Shiv Dev Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
