RAMBAN, Oct 15: Patnitop police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Patnitop Police Post established a checking point at Sanasar-Patnitop Road and intercepted a person, who was trying to hide himself from the cops.
During checking, police recovered 70 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Ganesh Chand, son of Mulkh Ram, a resident of Sanasar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Batote Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Patnitop Police Post SI Sumit Magotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Batote Inspector Vijay Choudhary, DySP Headquarters Ramban Imtiaz Hussain, Additional SP Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal.
