Man arrested with ganja

JAMMU, Sept 4: Narwal police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a man along with two kilograms ganja.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Narwal police post laid a naka and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 2 kilograms ganja from the possession of the man and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Gautam, son of Bahu Ram a resident of Chattisgarh, presently residing in Bagh-e-Bahu area.
A case under FIR number 180/16 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal police post SI Wasim Mehraj made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort police station Inspector Bharat Sharma, SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
