JAMMU, Feb 14: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has demanded that there should be binding on all political parties to implement their election manifesto.
The AIBCU which met here, today under the leadership of Abdul Majid Malik, its president also made an appeal to Chief Justice of India requesting him to make political parties bound to implement the manifesto which they release during the elections.
The meeting was attended by all the executive members including M R Bangotra.
It said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and BJP had made many promises in 2014 viz implementation of Mandal Report in J&K State, two crore employments every year, return of black money from Swiss Bank, better education system and many other promises like `Acche Din’ but none of them have been fulfilled.
The Union said generally the political parties make false promises before elections and once they win the polls, they forget what they promised to public.
It said with this binding on the political parties, there would be a complete cleanliness in the politics.
