REASI, Feb 14: Principal Sessions Judge Reasi Kamlesh Pandit has rejected the bail application of one Kranti Kumar, who was booked in attempt to murder case on July 12, 2019.
After hearing both the sides, the court observed, “accused person/applicant once released on bail would indulge in tampering with the evidence and also extending threats to the witnesses as well as the injured when his other two co-accused persons are still at large”.
“Also important piece of evidence—weapon of offence has not been recovered. In the given facts and circumstances the incarceration of the accused person, even if judicial, would be of no help to him because the injured as well as the accused party have rivalry with each other”.
With these observations, court rejected bail application.
