Though examinations of Class X, XII conducted by BOSE in Jammu province are over, there is urgent need to keep these exams fair in the future. Otherwise, these exams will lose sanctity and credibility in the coming times.
It was reported that the questions papers of ClassX-English, Hindi and Mathematics had many discrepancies which caused great embarrassment to students appearing for the test. The Board authorities should have been more careful, while setting the questions papers.
It was also reported that at some places students indulged in copying.Mass copying during the board exams in some rural areas has become a routine now. Such cheating activities not only discourage those students who work hard but also jeopardise the future of those who indulge in such an activity.
The BOSE authorities should make every effort to make these exams foolproof and transparent.
